Visit Our Open House!
Rosedale Technical College is offering a spring open house on Saturday, April 11, at 9:30 a.m. This is a great way to learn more about the many programs that we offer on our campus, including our two newest program areas: industrial technician and welding.
At the open house, you’ll be able to meet faculty, visit our facilities, learn more about equipment and instruction, and ask questions about our programs.
Admissions, financial aid, job placement, and student services staff will also be present to answer any questions about Rosedale.
Programs for the 21st Century
A career in the trades offers excellent career prospects and high-paying jobs.
- Full Slate of Programs. Our programs include automotive technology, diesel technology, HVAC technology, electrical technology, truck driving, industrial technician, and welding. Each one helps to drive the “new economy” that’s taken root around the country. With these specialized skills, you’ll be ready to work in nearly any industry: construction, automotive, energy, and more.
- Hands-on Projects and Real-World Experience. We believe that our students learn best from a combination of theory and practical experience. That’s why we offer valuable hands-on training that is designed to adapt to employers’ needs and the technological changes that will take place within the industries that employ Rosedale graduates. For instance, our electrical technology program includes residential and commercial wiring projects. Our programs have training labs and simulations, as well as all of the equipment that graduates will need to know how to operate.
- Student Services. We use Smartboard technology, state-of-the-art computers, and in-house tutoring to ensure that students are getting the best instruction possible. We also hold events so that students have a chance to socialize outside of the classroom. Rosedale can also help students find housing in the Pittsburgh area—just ask.
- Job Placement Services. Rosedale Tech helps graduating students find the perfect place to start their career. We offer a career preparation course that teaches students how to write resumes and cover letters and prepares them for interviews. We also hold career fairs so that employers and students have the chance to meet. Our graduates are in high demand, and our job placement program will assist them as they begin a promising career.
